I’m Ryszard Kozlowski — a husband and a father, but here, I focus on my profession and hobbies. In this context, I’m an engineer, first and foremost.
A software engineer with broad, deep experience: web development, user interfaces, embedded systems, and, above all, relational databases — especially SQL Server OLTP.
I’m not just a developer but a hands-on DBA who keeps busy systems stable and performant.
Outside of code, I design and solder circuits, record and fine-tune audio, capture the world through lenses, and look up at the stars. I see every product — from cars to salt grinders — as the outcome of an engineer’s choices: I notice what works, what fails, and I appreciate thoughtful design.
This site is my corner of the internet to share what I build, how I think, and the engineering lessons behind it. Here you’ll find practical SQL patterns, real-world stories, and tools I wish I’d had sooner.
