TigerQuery

TigerQuery is a modern SQL Server scripting engine for .NET, with a companion command-line tool, tiger-sqlcmd.

It supports familiar sqlcmd and SSMS SqlCmd-mode scripting while adding safer automation features, reusable connection profiles, predictable execution, and clean integration into applications, scripts, CI pipelines, and coding-agent workflows.

TigerQuery is useful when you need to:

• run SQL scripts with GO, variables, :setvar, and other SQLCMD-style features;
• execute scripts reliably from automation;
• manage reusable SQL Server connections without embedding secrets in scripts;
• use the scripting engine directly from .NET;
• run the same workflows interactively or unattended with tiger-sqlcmd.

Install TigerSqlCmd

On Windows:

winget install ItTiger.TigerSqlCmd

Or as a .NET tool:

dotnet tool install --global ItTiger.TigerSqlCmd

For .NET applications

dotnet add package ItTiger.TigerQuery
